Founded in 1994 and cited as the "finest chamber choir in Westchester," Charis Chamber Voices is a select group of singers dedicated to providing the highest quality vocal performance. The group, in its seventh year under the artistic direction of Arthur Sjögren, is known for its diverse repertoire, unique blend of voices and captivating performances.

Les Tappan Zigues
Les Tappan Zigues (“zigues” is French slang for “guys”) are Mikel Berrier on guitar, harmonica and vocals and Vicente Saavedra on upright bass. Mikel is a native Parisian, Vicente hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela. Together they create a sound that is energetic, romantic, and uplifting. They play original songs and cover many classics from the French songbook—George Brassens, Jaques Brel, Yves Montand and Serge Gainsbourg, among others. Their music includes rhythms such as gypsy, waltz, reggae, bossa nova and Latin fusions. Their favorite compliment is, “your music made me travel… for a minute I thought I was in France.”
